Gather & Grow: Practice-a-thon

Join us for Gather & Grow: Practice-a thon, a month-long event that encourages young musicians to dedicate time to practice while raising funds for scholarships to help more students attend the Ogontz Suzuki Institute. Whether you're attending the institute or not, this is your chance to improve your playing, set goals, and be part of a supportive music community—all while making a difference!
Who Can Participate?
All string players—no matter their age or skill level—are welcome to join! You do not have to be attending the Ogontz Suzuki Institute to participate.
How it Works
✅ Step 1: Register – Sign up and start your journey. Keep an eye on your mailbox for a special welcome surprise!
✅ Step 2: Set Your Practice Goal – Commit to a personal goal and track your progress from May 1st – May 31st.
✅ Step 3: Find Sponsors – Ask friends, family, and community members to support your practice by pledging per hour or making a one-time donation.
✅ Step 4: Complete Challenges & Earn Rewards – Earn raffle tickets and prizes by completing practice challenges.
✅ Step 5: Submit Practice Hours & Celebrate! – At the end of May, share your progress and see how your dedication has helped others.
How Sponsorship & Fundraising Works
🎶 Sponsors can pledge in two ways:
Per-hour donation – Sponsors pledge a set amount for every hour you practice.
One-time donation – A direct contribution in your name.
🎶 Where does the money go?
100% of the funds raised go toward financial aid scholarships for students to attend the Ogontz Suzuki Institute.
Donations are tax-deductible, and sponsors will receive a receipt for their contributions.
